Upon coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, on 2 June 1953, as monarch of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan and Ceylon the crown was changed in 1954. The Tudor crown (Kings Crown) was replaced by the St. Edward's crown Queens Crown).
